Welcome to Avalanche Volleyball Club!

Dear Avalanche families,

It is hard to believe that another club volleyball season has come and gone. I hope each family is enjoying your summer and getting a brief break before the rigors of summer volleyball camps, the start of school tryouts, and the fall season.

Our current Avalanche director, Nicole Andersen, has recently gotten married and will be moving out of the area. Nicole will be missed, and we wish her and her new husband well while coaching in the college ranks in North Dakota.

We are fortunate to have as Nicole's replacement a dynamic individual named Katie Valentino. Katie has extensive playing and coaching experience and will bring Avalanche a very organized, efficient, and professional system of training as well as great communication to parents, players, and coaches.

I am extremely confident in Katie's abilities and potential to take Avalanche to a higher level. She is excited to get started and put her stamp on the program.

Katie and I will be meeting in the next several weeks to layout our 2010-2011 tryout schedule, so be looking for this information on the website and printed material. If you have any questions or feedback on Avalanche volleyball, please feel free to call Katie or myself.
